YOLONDA KELLEY
Yolonda Kelley is a Professional Services Team for Literacy Solutions member at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH). During her tenure, she has served as a Regional Consultant, Professional Services Consultant and now Manager of Professional Learning in the Southwest Region. Her primary focus includes Professional Services Delivery through Student-Centered Coaching with an emphasis on Data Analysis and Implementation Planning to Increase Student Achievement through comprehensive support and management of her territory. Yolonda’s background in public education includes experience as a classroom teacher, campus and district administrator, as well as external state technical assistance provider for low-performing schools in the Greater Houston area of Texas. She loves teaching and learning! Her passion is professional development for educators, and she considers herself to be the "Teacher's Teacher"! To Family Roots, she brings her wealth of experience in the Education realm, including curriculum development.
DEE DEE GOMEZ
Employed for over 15 years in the professional fields of finance and audit, Ms. Gomez obtained substantial experience working in healthcare management, education, and local municipality. Holding an MBA, Ms. Gomez has served as a financial analyst with MD Anderson Cancer Center and Budget and Reporting Analyst, in the Department of Finance, for the City of Rosenberg, Texas. She specializes in coordinating annual budgets, as well as preparation of the comprehensive annual financial reports and annual audit reports. The mother of a beautiful daughter and a fur baby, Dee Dee enjoys spending time at home cooking, sharing her culinary creations with family and friends, reading and taking long walks, admiring nature. Love of the Lord, family & friends are the capstones of her life. Being a part Family Roots for Life is an honor and a blessing. Ms. Gomez is a positive contributor to the organization’s future.
