Dawn Diamond, PhD, Ingrid Montgomery, and Michael Van Swol join our Governing Board, bringing strategic insight and leadership. Rev. Ann Lister and Janice Himes join our National Advisory Council to guide outreach and engagement. Our student interns—Helen Hailemariam (Harvard University) and Estoria Thomas (Texas Southern University)—will support key initiatives with fresh ideas and energy. We also welcome community volunteers Tara Tulloch, Deane Choh, Sharon Parker of Sharon Parker Realty, and India Sandles, who will contribute to events and programs.Together, they’ll help drive our mission forward.

Family Roots for Life proudly honors centenarian and Living Legend, Ms. Helen M. Baldwin. We deeply appreciate the reflections shared about her extraordinary journey and enduring legacy. Her century of memories, experiences, resilience, and wisdom continues to inspire generations. It is a true privilege to recognize this remarkable chapter in her life.
