We invite you to "Wear Blue" for Child Abuse Prevention and join us at Light of Hope, a special evening dedicated to building community awareness and impact. 

This free, public event draws hundreds of children and adults to Sugar Land Town Square Plaza.

This outdoor venue is filled with blue balloons, information tables, and giveaways. 

We want your help to empower communities with resources to support Texas children, youth, and families where they live, work, and play!

For April, we encourage you to promote child abuse prevention with your networks. 

Our goal for this month is to reach as many individuals as possible to equip families with knowledge and resources to support child abuse prevention practices in Texas. 

It's Financial Literacy Month! Financial Literacy is a critical life skill, yet many Americans struggle with basic personal finance concepts. 

Regions Bank's initiative aims to address this gap by providing accessible resources to empower all people, particularly parents, caregivers and younger generations, to make informed decisions about saving, budgeting, investing, and achieving their financial goals. 

Family Roots for Life, Inc. honors Living Legend Harriet Hedlund and the steady, loving, humble life she has lived. We join her family and friends in honoring this extraordinary milestone. Her life’s journey as a family matriarch, registered nurse, military veteran, member of Ward Memorial AME Church, and graduate of Hampton University has inspired and strengthened countless lives and communities. The Living Legends Initiative uplifts elders who are 100 years of age or older and whose lives embody strength, continuity, and generational impact. This mission‑driven program recognizes individuals whose stories preserve family heritage and inspire future generations. 

We invite the public to  Nominate a Living Legend - centenarians or near‑centenarians for induction into the Living Legends program.
